Nostalgia, especially for the 90's, is driving the entertainment world today. Will & Grace, Murphy Brown, and Roseanne (well, less Roseanne) are all back on the air, and Netflix has had its own chance by offering continuations and reboots of faves from the '90s as Full house, Mysterious Science Theater 3000, and Wet american hot summer. Now, among the new movies and shows on Netflix this week is the next big reboot of the live broadcast giant Sabrina's icy adventures – an update on the TGIF classic Sabrina the teenage witch – and it happens at the right time.
Not only the new Sabrina striking when the nostalgic iron of the 90s is hot, it also hits Netflix just in time for Halloween. The new series resists the "chilling" aspect of its title, inspired more by the darker cartoon series of the same name, released for the first time in 2014, than the sitcom of Melissa Joan Hart. Sabrina it's not 100% what you remembered. In this new update, Métis Sabrina Spellman must decide to fully engage in the world of witches (much more satanic than you remember in the 90s) or in the human world at 16, and let's just say that things get complicated a little out of control.
