Paul Scholes think Manchester United midfielders need to communicate more with Romelu Lukaku about his offensive positioning.
The Belgian striker had a terrible period in form at Old Trafford, which saw him perform two and a half months of club football without scoring any goals.
While Lukaku is struggling to sneak past the goal, another key factor in his goal is that the drought is due to a dubious positioning that prevented him from making the connection with his cast.
And although Scholes thinks that Lukaku still has the urge to score goals regularly, he believes the 25-year-old needs positional help to make up for his lack of technical abilities.
"Since coming to United, he seems to think he's going to be a footballer," Scholes told BT Sport.
"He thinks he's going to go into role number 10 but he's not doing it, that's the last thing he has to do.
