Shantae Studio to help finish stained with blood: night ritual

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night's developer, ArtPlay, has launched WayForward Technologies, developer of Half-Genie Hero, with the goal of contributing to the development.

Producer Koji Igarashi told Wayforward that he was a "leading" developer of action-packed side-scrolling games, adding that he had worked with one of WayForward's employees on a previous project. Igarashi said WayForward would help him to realize his vision of the match.

The producer added that WayForward "helps improve the game and fix the bugs that appear." There is one bug in particular that is currently causing a bloody crash, but Igarashi said that it will be corrected with the help of the new partner studio.

In the message announcing the collaboration, Igarashi shared the above concept of a new enemy christened Cyhyreath. The team plans to show more enemies like Cyhyreath before its release but will keep the total number of enemies until its launch.

Jason Ryan of the 505 Games publisher noted that there was still no release date to announce, but that the arrival of WayForward brings the team closer to the next ad.

In August, Igarashi announced that the movie Bloodstained had been delayed from 2018 to 2019. However, Kickstarter's sponsors have been able to access a demonstration since June.
