Studio Trigger ( Little Witch Academia Kill Kill Kiznaiver ) announced Friday at his panel at the Anime Expo that he is launching a Patreon page. The company then posted a link to the Patreon page on Twitter.
Studio Trigger explained why he launched the page:
We are a studio that targets a global audience and values communications with our fans. If you have been in a creative business, I bet we can all tell that a simple feedback is all it takes to make our day awesome. However, we can not deny sometimes that we would have liked to have a dollar more or two. There have been too many incidents where we had to give up a commodity idea because it was not profitable or simply because of a lack of funding. It's here that you and Patreon come in! With your support, we would like to transfer funds in various aspects of the studio. Maybe a new product line, attend / drive more events, or just provide a little more to our staff.
Users who donate US $ 1 per month will have access to a high resolution .jpg file of Studio Trigger's live drawing sessions . Those who give US $ 5 per month will have access to the .psd, .ai and clip studio files with the seamless layers of Trigger's live drawing sessions . Once the studio reaches US $ 1,500 a month, it will start broadcasting a live drawing session with one of its animators / illustrators. The studio will use the initial earnings to prepare the equipment for live broadcasts.
The studio said it hoped to broadcast "as often as possible," adding, "Please, understand that we will have to prioritize our animation series first." In progress."
At press time, 112 customers promised $ 506 a month.
