In the lead-up to the AFF Suzuki Cup Round of 16, it seems that the Philippines are facing more problems, since another player has returned to his club.

According to one report, the team is officially reduced to 18 men when they face Vietnam since Stephan Palla is now among the players who ended prematurely their campaign of the FIFA Suzuki Cup.

This confirmation comes on the heels of John-Patrick Strauss by revealing that he would return in Germany to play for his club FC Erzgebirge Aue.

In addition, Daisuke Sato also left the team for return Sepsi OSK, a Romanian club, concluded their stay with the Azkals in the Suzuki Cup.

Prior to all this, the Philippines already lacked two key players: Neil Etheridge only appeared in the early stages of the competition before returning to Cardiff, while Luke Woodland excluded only in the first match due to injury.

As for Palla, he plays for Buriram United but will not be there because the Azkals will try to beat the champions of 2008. He was not in the composition of the draw 0-0 against Indonesia and played only a match – a 1-1 draw against Thailand.

It should be interesting to see how the Azkals manage their team in the future.
