Taylor Swift donated $ 15,500 (Dh56,923) to a GoFundMe account of a fan whose family has medical bill issues.
Sadie Bartell's mother has been in a coma for three years and the family is fearful of losing her home in Orem, Utah, because of rising medical bills. The 19-year-old tweeted that her mother had fallen ill two days before going to see Swift at a concert.
Over the weekend, Swift made a donation with the message "Love, Taylor, Meredith and Olivia Swift". Meredith and Olivia are Swift cats.
Others followed the example of the singer and made a donation.
Bartell tweeted: "In fact, Taylor really donated to me and followed me and loved my thanks to her as if such things were happening, it's my life, it's real.
