Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford are "brilliant examples" of the success of the Manchester United Academy, according to Nicky Butt.

Rashford and Lingard have scored three and two goals respectively for England this season, after also participating in the national team's run to the World Cup semi-final – a tournament won by France's Pogba.

"We are very proud and privileged to see them play for us, play for their country and go so well.

"But we must also look for the following. We can not stand still and say, "We have done well, they will be part of the team for the next five, six, or seven years," because that is never achieved.

"We must continue to seek the next. Where is the next Jesse, the next Marcus, the next Pogba when you can bring them from abroad? It's our challenge as a club, it's our challenge as a screening service. "
