These two guys have been swallowed up in the Marvel world since Captain America: the winter soldier. They did an amazing job with the Marvel films they made, but it makes sense that they want to go away to try new things, tell different stories and play with other genres.
We do not know when and if Marvel Studios will manage to make a Secret wars movie, but they would be crazy if they do not do it at some point!
Secret wars was the first major series of Marvel multisport events. It debuted in 1984. The title was re-used for a series in 2015. If that Secret wars the film arrives, it seems that the Russo are more interested in the adaptation of the series of 1984 because they loved it so much when they were children. They explain:
