The Super Smash Bros. Character Guide Ultimate: Ganondorf

Ganondorf creates a calamity!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is huge. Not just in terms of hype, importance and sales potential, but simply in terms of content. The Nintendo Switch Mascot Hunter includes more than one hundred scenes, nearly a thousand songs and too many Pokémon, Assist items and trophies so you can pack on a cartridge that you can plan on the fly or on TV. When you have as many big franchises as Nintendo, putting them together in one game will make it a really great game.

But the biggest and most exciting thing about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is his breathtaking and comforting list of playable characters. The fighting games are proud not only of the strength of their mechanics, but also of their fighters, especially in a crossover like this. And Super Smash Bros. Ultimate crushes all opponents by including all playable characters from the previous four games in the Twenty-Year Series. Include the new fighters and until now, we have more than 70 fighters to wrap our heads. We are excited, but we are also intimidated. So get ready for Super Smash Bros. UltimateEvery day, character by character, we create the ultimate guide for all his characters. Today's fighter: Ganondorf.

Who are they?

Ganon is the ultimate villain of THE legend of Zelda. Sometimes he is a pig with a trident. Sometimes it's a diabolical cloud. Sometimes there is hatred for a barefoot monster called Demise. But when he is a robber king man of the Gerudo desert, racial, as in Ocarina of Timehe is Ganondorf. And of course, this is the easiest version of the character to integrate into a fighting game like Super Smash Bros.

Smash History

Ganondorf is perhaps the weirdest of the secret clone characters of Melee as his punchy move is based on Captain Falcon, a character from another franchise. This core of clones has not changed, but subsequent games have given it new moves, such as a devastating choke attack command input, with more power to cope with a large game. Twilight Princess character model. He is the meanest of the recurring villains in the series.

What's new in Ultimate?

In Ultimate Ganondorf returns to a Ocarina of Time watch from Melee. He is also more agile than he was in Melee. But to separate him even more from Captain Falcon, all his smash attacks now use his sword, which we used to joke about. What is most promising for fans of Ganondorf like me, however, is that Ganondorf, much faster, more evasive, more powerful, more extended and more linear, is a serious character choice.

Our hopes?

I have a tragic story with Ganondorf, my longtime main character in Fight and smash Wii U / 3DS. It's so much fun to play, to stifle people and to make them fall into oblivion. But his laggy laggy grandpa nature has made him one of the worst characters in competition smash for a decade now. With these radicals Ultimate changes I hope that ultimately, against all odds, Ganondorf is actually good and viable, while retaining the ridiculous Triforce of Power that makes it so so satisfying to break it.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches December 7 for Nintendo Switch. As long as we can not play more for ourselves, the changes we are talking about here are primarily speculations.
