Tencent Games has started deploying the PUBG Mobile Update 0.12.0 (PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds) for Android and iOS. The update brings a new mode, the Zombie: Darkest Night, as well as a number of new features such as the ability to watch every game your friends participate in. The update is 475 MB in size on Android.
In the new darkest night mode, players, instead of skydiving a plane, will appear randomly on the map, where they will have to defend themselves from waves of zombies to stay alive. The mode will consist of players surviving three foggy nights during which zombie reserves will increase. There is also a toxic gas epidemic, which players must also avoid.
The update also brings its new Survive Till Dawn 2 mode, an extension of PUBG Mobile's partnership with Resident Evil 2. The new mode includes new weapons such as sound grenades, RPG-7 liquid nitrogen grenades and jungle style magazines. To increase the difficulty of the game mode, the developers have added new zombies capable of jumping and zombie dogs.
Zombies will now move more slowly after being damaged. Both the flamethrowers and the M134 gun have been readjusted to handle more damage and provide better maneuverability, respectively. Players can now complete daily missions in Til Dawn Survive mode.

The game now also offers a spectator mode, which will allow players to watch their matches live with their friends, crew and clan members by pressing spectate in their profile. You can also change the color and shape of the Red dot, holographic, 2x, and 3x staves.
Players can now support each other by sharing tastes in the space zone. The company has also renamed Event mode to EvoGround and announced that new modes will soon be joining Survive Till Dawn mode.
