Tottenham will face more than 40 million euros in the Brazilian environment

Tottenham is considering a transfer in January for midfielder Allan to Napoli, according to a report.

CalcioNapoli24 report that the Spurs have turned to the Brazilian applicator after initially discovering his teammate in Naples, Amadou Diawara

Allan, 27, is the "best blocker" in Serie A, according to the Italian source, with a unique ability to recover the ball from a midfield position at the bottom.

Tottenham appears to have "probed the pitch" after sending scouts to monitor Allan, but Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis is desperate to keep control of the player.

Allan was an integral part of Napoli taking second place in Serie A this season, making 17 appearances in all competitions.

Allan joined Napoli after leaving Udinese for an amount of 10 million euros, plus bonuses, as well as a permanent exchange from Miguel Britos in July 2015 and is under contract in Naples until the end of the year. 2023.

The report states that the Spurs are willing to offer 40 million euros to Allan, a figure that De Laurentiis will almost certainly refuse.

However, the Spurs will only move if the space in their team is released, be it the departure of Mousa Dembele or Victor Wanyama.

Dembele is a January goal for clubs in China, while Wanyama was strongly linked to his distance from the Spurs.

TEAMtalk understands that Tottenham is also interested in Norwegian star Sander Berge, available for around 15 million euros.

The 20-year-old Genk midfielder has been on the Spurs' radar since the age of 16 and they nearly signed him before moving to his current club, Genk, in January 2017.
