Vintage G1 transformers come back later this year

Walmart goes on to the old, bringing Generation 1 Transformers from the 1980s and into the toy aisle later this year.

The US retailer announced Starscream, Hot Rod, a 6- figure Constructicon Devastator pack, and "Legion Class Figures" as Bumblebee and Outback.

As for authenticity, G1 Transformers reissues were made using "original production tooling including die-castings and conventional heat-sensitive stickers." If you do not remember , part of the fiction of the original toy line included spies whose allegiance could only be revealed by rubbing the sticker, revealing their Autobot badge or Decepticon.

The packaging, too, is a reconstruction of the original 1984, lending even more to the authenticity of the figures. However, the Starscream Vintage G1 figure comes with a "Megatron style blaster", which allows you to "stand out in the iconic scene of the 1986 animated film".
