Ajith Kumar's latest offer, Viswasam, was a hit at the Tamil Nadu box office. Written and directed by Siva, the film had a considerable impact on the audience.
The mass performer Nayanthara in the lead role opposite Ajith. The actor is back on screen after Vivegam in August 2017. The film had a greater opening than that of Rajinikanth Petta at the box office in Tamil Nadu, according to trade analyst Ramesh Bala.
However, Rajinikanth's petta is doing exceptionally well on the international market compared to Viswasam.
Bala recently shared on Twitter: "# Pongal2019 Tamil Releases – Update of the Box Office of the first day: #Viswasam has taken a greater openness than #Petta to the NPT. TN # Petta took a bigger opening than #Viswasam at the Overseas Box. "

Alongside Ajith and Nayanthara in the lead roles, the entire film also includes Jagapathi Babu, Anikha, Vivek and Yogi Babu, among others, in essential roles.
Viswasam's review by Indianexpress.com said: "Ajith is trying to use his charm to hide the fact that the film has no new story to tell. But we have seen him time and time again under the supervision of Siva. Despite his celebrity, he can only do a lot to sell a film full of redundant emotions and narrative techniques. Talented stars including Nayanthara, Thambi Durai, Robo Shankar and Kovai Sarala have all been wasted. "
The magazine continues, "In Veeram, Ajith protected his in-laws. In Vedalam, he protected his adopted sister. In Vivegam, he saved his pregnant wife. In Viswasam, he protects his daughter. Ajith-Siva should consider preserving the public from bad movies by taking a very long break from each other. "
Viswasam was released on January 10.
