LOS ANGELES • James Woods has attracted attention for his support for Donald Trump and has complained of being blacklisted by Hollywood because of his conservative views.
Now, the Emmy-winning actor has been dumped by his seemingly talented agent on politics.
Woods shared on Twitter an email that he received from Mr. Ken Kaplan on the occasion of Independence Day, informing the actor that he did not wish to plus represent it
"It's July 4th and I'm feeling patriotic," wrote Kaplan, whose client list includes Twilight star Kristen Stewart
"I do not want you anymore to represent, I mean I can make a diatribe, but you know what I would say. "
Woods, 71, who described Kaplan as a" political liberal, "included his response on his Twitter feed
"Dear Ken, I do not do it," wrote the two-time Academy Award-nominated actor for his roles in Salvador (1987) and Ghosts Of Mississippi (1997).
"I thought that if you felt patriotic, you would appreciate the freedom of expression and the right to think as an individual.
" Whatever it's about I would like to thank you for your hard work and dedication on my behalf, be wise. "
