Police arrested Rishi for the first time last year, during a spot check to Toa Payoh. It was later discovered that his urine sample contained traces of a synthetic cannabinoid. A brown substance in her possession contained a similar drug.
The court documents indicate that Rishi admitted that he smoked the drug daily since 2016.
He was later released on bail and then committed other offenses.
On October 18, around 11 am, he stole clothes, including a t-shirt and a pair of shoes, worth over $ 120 in a shop at the Waterway Point Mall in Punggol.
About three hours later, he was sitting on the empty deck of a block of Punggol Way apartments when he saw the woman passing by.
Rishi followed her into an elevator, went out with her to a higher floor and slapped her face, forcing the woman to leave her keys and mobile phone.
Assistant Attorney General Rebecca Wong told District Judge Eddy Tham, "Before the victim could react, the accused grabbed his neck, choked him and gave him several punches. in the face.

The woman then grabbed Rishi's groin and squeezed it tight, forcing her to release her hold. She also tried to hit him with his umbrella but he threw it aside.

A resident who heard the agitation alerted the police. The officers found the injured woman collapsed against a wall in the lobby of the elevators.
She was held at the Sengkang General Hospital until October 23 and got 27 days of sick leave.
The court heard that police arrested Rishi in Yishun about four hours after the robbery.
PDP Wong also said he hijacked a $ 850 electronic scooter from a Yishun store on Oct. 17, after telling the store owner that he wanted to test it.
Judge Tham told Rishi on Tuesday that robbery was a "heinous crime" that left the woman with "horrible" wounds.
Judge Tham called for a report on the assessment of Rishi's ability to undergo reform training, which involves confining offenders to a center in order to follow a strict diet including exercises with feet and advice.
Rishi should be sentenced on April 30. A robbery with injury can result in a jail sentence of five to twenty years with at least 12 cane strokes.
