Although its smart speaker, the Galaxy Home, has not yet been delivered, Samsung seems to already work on tracking this device. A new document filed by the Federal Communications Commission states that Samsung has a new "IA speaker" underway, which looks like a smaller version of the Galaxy Home with a shorter body and no legs. It retains its cauldron shape, and it will probably be a smaller and less expensive counterpart than the original. (Yes, it probably means that you will also use Bixby.)
There is not much information to gain here about the Galaxy Home mini or the original; As of May 10, Samsung announced plans to ship Galaxy Home in the first half of the year, although it was originally announced that it will be launched in April and that date will not be reported. . There is still no information on the prices of the original Galaxy Home. It is therefore difficult to know how much a smaller version would cost. In comparison, the tiny Echo Dot and Google Home Mini are retail at $ 50. (Consumers generally pay much less than that, since they are often offered as free gifts with purchases.)
I may not be a maker of gadgets, but I know it can take years for a product to go from design to creation until it's on the market. Nevertheless, in an already saturated space, it would perhaps be better for Samsung to send the advertised product first before worrying too much about a follow-up.
