Piers Morgan hit back at ITV head Dame Carolyn McCall after claiming the broadcaster had “vigorously” defended him against his comments about Meghan Markle earlier this year.

Mr Morgan left Good Morning Britain (GMB) in March after refusing to apologize for saying he “didn’t believe a word” of what Ms Markle claimed in her explosive interview with Oprah.
The episode became the most criticized moment in Ofcom history – but the TV watchdog cleared him of any wrongdoing earlier this month.
