Although Waluigi did not have the chance to join the Super Smash Bros. series. as a playable character, fans continue to honor him as a stage. In this scene created by the ultimate user "Samid" of Smash Bros., we see a Waluigi who seems to have been informed of his exclusion from the group.
We also see the stage of the Sonic Hedgehog series chemical plant, as well as head nods for The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of Nature, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure , the favorite character of Shantae, and more.
Oh, and I'd like to not mention the "banjo buff" stage that sees competitors fighting on the pecs of the bear. It is curious, certainly, but it certainly looks like what it was intended for, so hat to the creator.
