Oddworld: Storm of soul, the long-awaited remake of Oddworld: Exoddus, is the latest game to become an exclusive Epic Games Store on PC. In a post on the official Oddworld Twitter accountLorne Lanning (president of developer Oddworld Inhabitants) wrote: "Stormy soul is our most ambitious game of all time and we are committed to creating a great game that meets the highest level of quality. But to create the version of Stormy soul we want and deserve, we needed additional financial help. "
To that end, Abe's return will come to the Epic Shop when it launches next year. Although this will probably be a contentious decision for some, it is likely that Stormy soul would end up being delayed again without the support of Epic. Given the number of times it has been delayed before, I am surprised that the game has not been totally canceled by this point.
