BOCA CHICA BEACH – The development of the Space X site is going well in Boca Chica Beach.
Last month, Space X launched its starhopper rocket on its first test flight.
Neighbors say that since then, there are new developments almost every day.
"In the north back, they laid out a whole road, laid three bases, small foundations, they redeveloped the entire yard," said Maria Pointer, a resident of Boca Chica Beach.
The pointer also tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS that she noticed improvements in the launch pad.
Cecilia Gutierrez, from Channel 5, spoke to locals about the excitement aroused by the region's future.
