COUNTY OF BREVARD • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – On Saturday, May 4, SpaceX launched its 17th Commercial Replenishment Services (CRS-17) mission at 14:48 EDT from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Air Base.
The Dragon will separate from the second leg of the Falcon 9 approximately 9 minutes after take-off and will rejoin the space station on Monday, May 6.
The Dragon ship supporting the CRS-17 mission had already supported the CRS-12 mission in August 2017.
After the separation steps, SpaceX has set the first stage of Falcon 9 on the drone Of course, I still love you, parked in the Atlantic Ocean.
