Elon Musk's SpaceX Falcon Heavy was launched from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida with a satellite in orbit for Saudi Arabsat.
In addition to having his first commercial payload, it was also the first time the three bottom boosters of the rocket returned to Earth.
The rocket is part of a growing number of launch services at SpaceX, which includes the Crew Dragon which docked at the International Space Station in March.
