SpaceX sends private astronauts back to Earth after three days in orbit

Four private astronauts launched into orbit by Elon Musk’s SpaceX returned to Earth on Saturday night, diving into the ocean off Florida’s east coast after a three-day mission.

A company space capsule carrying the quartet landed by parachute at 7:06 p.m. ET. The capsule carried the ship’s captain, billionaire entrepreneur Jared Isaacman, as well as Hayley Arceneaux, a medical assistant; geoscientist Dr. Sian Proctor; and Chris Sembroski, aerospace data engineer.
