After presenting the IS 500 F Sport Performance last February, Lexus has finally released pricing for the V8-powered sports sedan. The car will start at $ 56,500, more than $ 10,000 less than its closest German rival.
After the base model there is the IS 500 Premium. It starts at $ 61,000 and includes a premium 17-speaker Mark Levinson surround sound audio system, navigation system, panoramic view monitor, three-beam LED headlamps and a power rear sun visor. Despite its competitive price, the IS 500 actually produces similar, and in some cases higher, horsepower than the Germans, although it lags a bit behind torque.
