Spotify has just revealed a brand new feature that will be available to all its users in the United States driving their car, Your Daily Drive. The new feature offers both music and talk shows, depending on the relevance and personality of the hosts.
This new feature aims to make the time spent commuting to work or school more bearable. US users who access Your Daily Drive will receive a personalized audio stream that combines music and news. Here is what is included in the launch:
- Short updates on Wall Street Journal, NPR and PRI podcasts;
- A mix of your favorite songs and artists, interspersed with pieces you have not yet discovered;
- Updates throughout the day to keep music and news fresh;
- An escape from switching between several stations to avoid music that is not quite at your speed.
The new Your Daily Drive feature is available in the United States starting today. Spotify has not yet provided details on the availability of this feature in other countries, but it does not appear that it is intended to be launched outside the United States.
