Just yesterday Stardew Valley celebrated its fifth anniversary, which sounds pretty crazy if you think about it. It’s been five years since the game’s release, but it still looks fresh and exciting with the work that went into it after launch.

Eric Barone, AKA ConcernedApe and the game’s creator, took to Twitter on the occasion of the game’s fifth anniversary to thank fans and gamers for staying in the game for so long. is constantly being improved over the years, it is entirely possible that Barone will continue to work on fixes and updates to add more content to it.

Just a few months ago we had Update 1.5, which was the biggest content drop that Stardew Valley has seen in quite a while. It added new dungeons, new animals, tools, as well as new beginning and endgame objectives for players to work on, and the patch was released for consoles just a few weeks ago.

There is still a lot of content to dive into Stardew Valley even if you’ve been playing since launch, which is a testament to the strength of this farming simulation. Stardew Valley is now available on PC, consoles and mobile devices.
