the Stardew Valley Update 1.5 is in development all year round now, so when will it be ready for release?

In a recent update on Twitter, game creator Eric ‘ConcernedApe’ Barone said he was now in the “home stretch”. As you may have already understood, this is a “really big update” so it needs a lot more tweaking and bug fixing, but when it does arrive it will include a lot of surprises.

Some tweets before this one revealed that the long-requested split-screen co-op feature would finally be added to the game in this upcoming update. It will support up to four players on some platforms and two players on other systems.

Throughout the year, other information about version 1.5 has also been revealed. For example, there will be new end-game content, possibly new areas to visit, and even banana trees. You can read all of the previous updates on our Stardew Valley game page.
