On Sunday March 14, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched a new batch of Starlink Internet satellites into orbit. Early risers who love Florida all the way to Maine may have seen this unusual sight.
Janice Ellison of Grymes Hill spotted the strange spacecraft on Sunday morning.
“I was sitting in my living room reading my emails on my phone. It was still dark, 6:15 a.m. Janice remarked, “I happened to look up out of the window and it was there!” I quickly turned on my phone’s camera and took the video. I thought it was a meteorite and searched for information online, but didn’t find anything until later that day. I went to NASA’s Twitter feed and saw it was SpaceX ”
“I was beside myself with excitement when I spotted him!” It was truly a unique experience and I am delighted to be in the right place at the right time! “
