The Pittsburgh Steelers are scheduled to be interviewed Thursday for their vacant offensive line coach position with former Steeler Hank Fraley, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Although his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers was short-lived as an undrafted free agent out of Robert Morris in 2000, Fraley spent 10 seasons in the NFL. When Fraley was waived by the Steelers to start the 2020 season, he was claimed by the Philadelphia Eagles. In 2001, Fraley appeared in all 16 Eagles games starting in 15. During his five seasons at Philadelphia, Fraley started 71 games at center before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2006. After four years at Cleveland, The first three of which he started each game, Fraley ended his NFL career in 2010 with the St. Louis Rams.
Since the end of his NFL career, Fraley has coached the offensive line at the University of San Diego in 2012 and at San Diego State in 2013. Fraley became the assistant coach of the offensive line of the United States. Minnesota Vikings for three seasons from 2014 to 2016 before returning to college as an offensive line coach at UCLA in 2017. Returning to the NFL at the Detroit Lions, Fraley was the coach’s assistant offense. line for two seasons from 2018 to 2019 before being promoted to offensive line coach for the 2020 season.
It was also reported that Fraley had interviewed the Cincinnati Bengals earlier this month for their position as offensive line coach.
