Stephen Curry cooks Bam Adebayo with the third step

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry pulled off a sick move against Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo on Thursday. Curry, who recently missed a few games with a tailbone injury, crossed, no sideways, and shot three to the right in front of Adebayo’s face with 36 seconds left in the first half.

Curry, who has averaged 29.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.2 assists this season, enjoyed a calm first half against the Heat. While he’s not yet 100% healthy, the Warriors need him more than ever to stay afloat in the Western Conference standings this season. They currently sit ninth in the table with a 23-24 record, just one game under 0.500.

Warriors general manager Bob Myers made it clear that he and management don’t like where the Warriors are right now – a team that hangs out just around .500. In their defense, the Warriors are missing one of their superstars Klay Thompson with an injury that could have helped them immensely this season.

As for Curry, the goal remains the same this season: to continue to rank as many wins as possible. Curry has had an impressive season, but the lack of help he is currently receiving is evident. There isn’t much that his young teammates can do, especially second draft pick James Wiseman, Jordan Poole and Kelly Oubre. A place in the play-in tournament is where many expect to land this season.

As the Warriors determine their roster in the coming months, at least basketball fans will be able to enjoy Curry on the court. The NBA isn’t the same without the Baby Assassin who kills everyone with what he does best.
