XQc millionaire says he can’t stream on Twitch after forgetting to pay his electric bill

Popular Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel saw his 6pm GTA RP broadcast abruptly end because he apparently forgot to pay his bills on time.

On March 31, the former Overwatch League pro was playing on NoPixel’s GTA RP server with a huge smile on his face when suddenly the stream went offline.

It was unclear exactly what happened to force the Twitch star’s broadcast to end so randomly. Despite all the “F” and “Way Too Dank” spam in the chat, xQc never reappeared, leaving some concerned.

A little later, Lengyel took to Twitter to reveal that he had somehow forgotten to pay his electric bill and that is why the electricity was cut.

The flow of xQc ended at a strange time.

“I forgot to pay the electricity bill. The electricity broke, the flow did too, ”he said. “Will be back later today or tomorrow.” The ups and downs of the last stream, but overall good! “

Some may be wondering how this could even happen, especially in 2021 when everything is automated. It’s not as if xQc, the highest grossing streamer in 2020, can’t in fact not pay its bill.

According to Lengyel, automatic payment was on, but his credit card limit had been the same since he was just 12 years old.

“Sometimes it’s empty and payment can’t be made,” the streamer revealed. “Just some Canadian bank stuff, come on.”

Other streams, like Alinity, didn’t care that Felix didn’t pay the bills. “This life of a streamer,” she joked to the tune of two laughing emojis. “This has happened to me more times than I want to admit.”

Of course, xQc wasn’t the only one affected by the power issues. Her roommate, who just turned out to be her partner, Adept also killed her stream. It came at an unfortunate time, too, when she was pushing for a longer show.

Although power may be absent for the time being in the French Canadian’s house, the juice is still flowing when it comes to his relations.

Hopefully he can get his credit card information sorted out quickly so the streaming antics can return soon.
