Steve Harvey is not impressed with Lori Harvey’s new boyfriend, Michael B Jordan.

The still-candid TV personality, 64, became aware of her 24-year-old daughter’s relationship with the actor, 34, in a new interview with Jimmy Kimmel, taking a few hits from him.

Although Steve called him a “nice guy,” he quickly joked that Jordan wasn’t “all of that” in his opinion.

Asked about his thoughts on his daughter dating People’s ‘sexiest man in the world’, Harvey had fun teasing the guy.

“First of all, let’s be clear about something. He’s a nice guy, but he’s NOT the sexiest man I know. At all, ”he shared, before calling himself“ the sexiest man in the world ”.

The Family Feud host continued to say, “ That kid … I like him … I shoot for him, ” though he seems unsure if this was the real deal.

Kimmel inquired about what he thought of Jordan renting an entire aquarium for Lori on Valentine’s Day.

Harvey isn’t convinced of the grand gesture saying, ‘Yeah, good luck buddy because Valentine’s Day comes every year … I don’t know if you know how it works or not, but I don’t know. how you are doing more ”, before adding“ good look partner ”.

His jokes calmed down for a brief moment as he said, ‘It was really good what he did, I’m happy for him’, while calling him a ‘good guy’ and mentioning that he had actually met his father.

But then he was back to jabs as he joked, ‘I don’t know where he is [Michael’s] get out of here, so hopefully he can do Creed 4, 5 and 6. ‘

Steve also added that he wanted his daughters to read his relationship book before picking suitors when asked if the Black Panther actor should have taken a look before he went looking for Lori.

“ I wish my daughters read d ** n’s book – that would be the smartest decision. Look at the man when your kids grow up they can make decisions on their own. I’m just happy that I can at least approve one.

Harvey was very clear that in the past he had “outright hatred” for his daughters’ boyfriends, saying he “never approved of anything”.

She has been linked with Diddy, Trey Songz, Lewis Hamilton and broke off an engagement with Dutch footballer Memphis Depay in 2018.

Although fiercely protective of Lori, it seemed like he was ready to give Jordan a chance.

The couple sparked romance rumors in November when they were seen visiting their family’s Atlanta home ahead of Thanksgiving. They went official on Instagram with their relationship in January and have not shied away from loving each other since.

A source told People this week that the relationship “ got serious quickly ” and that she was “ very happy ”.

“Obviously they don’t want to be separated. When they’re not traveling together, Lori spends a lot of time in Los Angeles with Michael, ” the insider said, adding that he ‘charmed her and treated her like a queen’.
