STANFORD, Ky. (WTVQ) – North-central Lincoln County was under tornado warning until 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
Lincoln County Emergency Management says it hasn’t received many reports of storm damage at this point. He indicates that a few trees were cut down on Cutoff Street in Stanford and that there is flooding on KY Highway 1194 on the Stanford side.
Stanford Police said the trees on Cutoff Street were now cut down. Police also said there were intersections with traffic lights at Somerset Street and Mill Street, Stanford Walmart, Lancaster and US 27.
The Stanford Fire Department said it had not yet received any reports of damage or responded to anything related to the weather conditions.
In Boyle County, the Danville Police Department say they have not heard of or seen any damage in the area due to the storms.
