MAKE YOUR LIFE AGAINST THE FLU: THERE’S A POD TOMORROW ON THE WEST CAMPUS
Flu shots continue to be an important way to protect yourself against the spread of this virus. While we all have a lot to do and a lot on our minds, protect yourself against the flu this season. Here’s where you can take your photos on campus this week and please watch for other opportunities to come. As in the past, drop-in events are organized in partnership with CVS and available for all students, faculty and staff. Please bring your health insurance card.
Wednesday September 22: Student Life Center Cafeteria, Southampton Campus, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursday September 23: SAC Auditorium, West Campus, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
SBM employees: As you must have seen in an email yesterday, there are a variety of flu vaccination opportunities available until the end of November. Visit The pulse for dates, details and / or to schedule your appointment.
CLASS PROTOCOLS
Since the start of the pandemic, the University has assembled a group of on-campus experts, who have worked closely with local and national health services, to monitor and implement appropriate measures to protect health and the safety of our university community. This applies to all operations across SBU, including our in-person class protocols. We continue to follow the science and advice of the CDC and other officials, and have developed, implemented and continue to update policies as necessary to protect the entire campus community. Read more on the FAQ web page for instructions on the Stronger Together site.
