Styx Classic Rock will close the second annual Shake The Lake Music Festival at the Wascana Center in August.

During the Labor Day weekend in Regina, it will be possible to hear "Going Away" from a boat on Lake Wascana.

Styx closes the second annual Shake The Lake annual rock festival, held in front of the Conexus Arts Center near the Wascana coast.

The two-day festival, August 30 and 31, will also include 54-50 ("I Go Blind," "Ocean Pearl"), The Northern Pikes ("She's not pretty," "Girl with a problem"). Loverboy ("The Kid is Hot Tonight"), and former Guess Who singer Burton Cummings ("American Woman", "These Eyes").

Cummings, who now resides in Moose Jaw, recently made headlines to report noise complaints about a local dance studio.

Two sets of covers are on the program: Big Bad Storm comes from Regina; and Toque (whose lineup includes Todd Kerns, Cory Churko, Brent Fitz and Shane Gaalaas) plays Canadian covers.

The line also includes musicians from Jack Semple and School of Rock.

The music starts at 5 pm Friday, August 30 and 14h Saturday, August 31.

Tickets are on sale now at conexusticket.com and 306-525-9999.

Weekend packages are $ 129 and tickets at night, $ 80, plus service charges.
