INDIANPOLIS (WISH) – It was a comfortable start to the morning with temperatures below 60 and mostly cloudy skies. It will be sunny and fast today, with highs in the 80s and sunny skies. Tonight will be hot and dry with highs in the upper 60s. Sunday will be even hotter with highs in the mid-80s.
Temperatures in the 80s will continue to start the week with a cold front approaching, making a few late showers possible as well. Showers will continue overnight and early Tuesday. The highs cool slightly with most spots in the upper 70s. The middle of the week seems calm and still well above the seasonal high with everyone in the mid-70s.
By Thursday we will have our second meteorologist of the week with showers and thunderstorms coming down and continuing until the end of the week. The peaks will cool in the mid-1970s through Friday. By Saturday, the peaks will be closer to the seasonal peak, with most being in the mid-1960s.
