Students who are at risk of not being admitted to high school because of their grades are entitled to education under the law. This year the government is investing more than SEK 158 million in a so-called law school. Jönköping County receives a Skolverket grant of SEK 4.4 million for education.

– Having a little more time on the law can make a huge difference for a student. According to Education Minister Gustav Fridolin, the time spent by the teacher and getting a new job may be enough to get a ticket for high school.

The money will be used to help students risk not to meet the knowledge requirements for class E. However, the grant can not be used for the purpose. Law school that municipalities are required to provide to students who have completed the eighth and ninth years.
