Being charged for grilling does not belong to the disadvantages. But traces of drought and fire bans in the country are imposing fines on people who violate the ban.
One of them is a 32 year old woman who grilled with her family Tuesday night in Sjöparken in the municipality of Alvesta.
The police were alarmed by the grills. The day before, the Kronoberg County Administrative Board had made a decision on a fire refusal, which meant that only grilling on its own property was allowed.

– The grill was a larger model, one that can be folded. It may have been sausage or grilled meat, says police Emir Bajric who was in place and also easy investigation.
"Did not really know that there is a firewall"
The woman is now one of the first to be prosecuted grilled illegally under the drought, and she suspected of violating the law on the prevention of accidents.
The woman told the family that they were sitting in the park for about an hour and that she was not aware of the firewall.
– I did not know that there was a fire ban. If I had known, I would not have grilled, I'm afraid of my children. I am not news bulletins, so I did not know that there was a fire ban, said the woman during an interrogation.
"Get similar cases"
Attorney Kristin Rydenståhl is now asking for a fine of 1500 SEK to grill. But the prosecutor had trouble finding similar cases
– This is a minimum sentence for daily fines. According to her, there is not much judicial practice to go into similar cases
Can we imagine a higher sentence considering the problem that could arise if a fire spreads after a barbecue?
– This is possible. Sometimes you can look at other penalties and what they give for value. Among other things, we have common negligence if you are negligently treated with fire. But in these cases, there are also daily fines and there are also no higher daily fines there, says Kristin Rydenståhl
