Svedala receives referendum on the prison in May

On May 26, residents of Svedala will be allowed to say yes or no to a prison center in the municipality. Until now, there will be no additional elections to the Riksdag. Then the referendum can take place earlier.

The issue was raised at Monday's city council meeting. All parties are in favor of a referendum. The formal decision will be taken next week by the city council.
