A disabled person had 18 teeth stretched and 8 teeth due to dental care, writes Sundsvalls Tidning.

The event is now notified lex Maria at the Inspectorate of Care and Care (Ivo).

The person in question belongs to the so-called N-Dental circuit. It addresses people covered by the Law on Support and Assistance for Certain People with Disabilities (LSS) and has a major need in nursing. This includes annual dental surveys, but only two such surveys have been recorded since 2013.

Due to poor oral health, the person now has twelve teeth – five in the lower jaw and seven in the upper jaw. In addition to pain, the many procedures resulted in an increased risk of infection and dietary difficulties.
