Struggle for housing in Karlstad – the staff has fled

On Tuesday evening, at half past six in the morning, the police received an alarm from a refugee resident in Karlstad. It was the staff members who triggered their aggression alarm in connection with a misconduct. Several people were affected inside the dwelling.

– Upon arrival, the staff was outside of the accommodation. They were scared and stressed, "said Tommy Lindh, press secretary for the Varmland police, before continuing:

"We went in and suppressed the noise by arresting a violent man and he was charged with handcuffs.

It is not known how many people were involved in the noise.

"We are now interviewing the staff to get a picture of what has happened," Lindh says.

The police issued an abuse notification.
