The rape took place in the municipality of Sigtuna in June 2014. A man suspected of the crime was arrested in Germany.
In October, the man was arrested in his absence and was called abroad, the police said in a press release. He is believed to have committed serious rape and to have participated in serious rapes.
He will probably be taken to Sweden next week, the police write.
