Emil Molin made a good impression at Allsvenskan and Modo last season with 51 points over 52 games.
This success takes him this summer to SHL and Malmö Redhawks.
The 25-year-old suffered a knee injury this summer, but then decided not to have surgery.
After five points on nine games of the SHL, it now appears that the knee does not last and the season is over, this confirms the club for the Evening Post.
"Can he dance around the mid-summer bar, it's really good," says Malmö coach Peter Andersson newspaper.
He will now undergo knee surgery.
