Stora Enso sees a lower demand – announcement of 500

The Stora Enso Forest Group announces 500 employees at the Oulu plant in Finland. The reason is the weaker demand for coated fine paper.

The notice concerns temporary redundancies in the three months of the first half of 2019. Negotiations between unions and employers are expected to end in December, says Reuters.

Stora Enso R was traded Wednesday at 11:30 to just over 113 SEK on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, a decline of 2.4% over the day.
