Prosecutor Ludmila Pronko filed a detention order in the Mora District Court before lunchtime on Wednesday. Talks took place in the afternoon and it was decided to arrest the man.
Suspected of killing a 14-year-old girl
Just a week ago, a 14-year-old girl was killed by a driver at a bus stop south of Orsa. The driver left the scene and the police found the car a mile away. Two days later, a man of the 50s was arrested, suspected of killing the girl.
And now, the man was arrested for probable reasons suspected of serious assault until the death of another. Prosecutions must be initiated by December 12th.
Sentenced earlier for several crimes of the road
The man has been convicted of several crimes of the road, such as murder, infestation, gross illegal driving and missing driver's license. The last sentence was pronounced two months ago when he was found guilty of beatings.
The man then promised to contact an alcohol therapist and get organized, which resulted in him being sentenced to a suspended sentence instead of imprisonment.
