Passenger car stuck under freight train – stop in rail traffic

At 18:45, SOS Alarm alerted the Hökmora ambulance, police and rescue services, where an accident occurred.

"This is a freight train that collided with a passenger car at the crossroads," said Katarina Wollfram, head of press communication at the Swedish Transport Administration, and continued:

– The car was stuck during the race.

According to police data, the driver of the passenger car – who was alone in the vehicle – is alive.

The crash train of today was driven by Green Cargo, as well as by the accident accident, Feb. 1. Avesta emergency services were alerted on the site, along with ambulances and a police officer from Västmanland.

The Hökmora crossing was the scene of a serious accident on February 1, when a freight train collided with a car. The driver, who jumped out of the office, was seriously injured.

The accident was investigated by the Swedish Transport Authority. The accident is also the subject of an investigation by the Horticulture Commission which has not yet submitted a final report.

It is unclear whether even the accident of today will be the subject of an investigation by the Hearing Panel.
