That's why online doctor Kry is building physical care centers: "We have taken a step forward"

Patients are confronted with the airy surfaces and turquoise walls of Kry's new and first physical health center.

Here, as well as online, you can meet Kry's doctors and psychologists, as well as a new group of dietitians and nurses.

The network doctor showed signs at the reception to explain the unfolding of the new bet. Under "digital reception room", it is read;

"Here you can quickly get help from a doctor via a video, a digital health care meeting following the same principles as a regular medical visit."

So now, would you like us to arrive in a physical building to seek care online?

This may seem at first sight, but the initiative has a broader vision. Even though network doctors are effective, not everything can be solved remotely by video. For Kry, this means that patients have been left to other primary health care providers, which has prompted some criticism. But now it will change, at least in Skåne.

Next week, Kry will show up at the Lund Health Center, as they announced this spring.

"We want to build something clean and not have the luggage of old care structures," said Samuel Danofsky, head of communication.

So what does it mean then?

"We want to make sure digital travel works well with the physical," said Kry, Acting Director of Sweden, Livia Holm.

The health center will consist of 10 employees where patients will be able to seek help directly. Another scenario is that when you have a digital video meeting with your doctor, for example, you have to take samples, this can now send you to Kry's own health center. In this way, the nurse will take control of the entire chain of care.

The health center can also be considered a bit like a laboratory. It's here, in combination with physical and digital care, that Kry will gain the necessary knowledge for development and new digital solutions.

"Much of what is done in physical care will be done digitally over the next 5 to 10 years, it will be transferred to digital channels and we want to continue to stimulate development," Livia Holm said.

She believes that in the future, more and more people will have access to the health care instruments currently available only in health centers.

"One thing as easy as ear inflammation, we can not treat Kry today." On the other hand, otoscopes are starting to be so cheap that they will be as common at home as they are at home. A thermometer. "

Other health care centers are planned in the future and so-called LOV applications have been submitted to several county councils.

"I can not comment on a specific timetable, we have taken the first step and opened a health center and we will now do well," said Livia Holm.

Krys ordinary patient visits the case according to the compensation model for the Jönköping region. The settlement in Lund now means that the Skåne region will no longer have to pay foreign taxes to Jönköping when the scouts use Kry's services.

Anders Wallner is a health strategist in the Skåne region.

"Now all virtual visits are made with donations that will be linked to the Skåne Physical Health Center," says Anders Wallner at TT.

Kry has grown rapidly and last year, a turnover of nearly 100 million euros was announced. The company is also backed by big venture capital companies and raised half a billion dollars this summer.

In addition to investments in Sweden, there are also institutions in European countries such as France and the United Kingdom.
