It was a real flat match for Manchester United at Saturday's meeting with Crystal Palace. But then, a player was congratulated and it was the Swedish national team Victor Nilsson Lindelöf. At the end of the match, he was very hurt and a few days later, the characters were not good.

"He was seriously injured and will be away for a while," said Jose Mourinho at a press conference held Monday.

On Wednesday, Manchester United released more specific details about the injury.

"I hope he's back for the Christmas season as we have an intense period with many matches, I would say about three weeks somewhere," Mourinho told United's website.

English media believe the Västerås midfielder could be back in the league match against Cardiff on 22 December. If it was correct, it would mean that "Vigge" misses five league games.
