Västerviks-Tidningen is one of the oldest newspapers in Sweden. It was founded by the printing press Carl Olof Ekblad in 1834 in addition to the movement of the printing press, under the name of Weckwind Westerwiks. The magazine changed its name and became Västerviks-Tidningen in 1919.
Today, the Västerviks-Tidningen are part of the geographically dispersed group of NCDs, but its basic task of publication is always to transmit local information and to reflect on a day-to-day basis the reality of the village where we operate.
