Josefin Nilsson's sister: "It's she who scored the goal of the match"

Josefin Nilsson is perhaps best known for Eva's role in the relational comedy Eva & Adam and for one of Gotland's Ainbusk members. His sister, Marie Nilsson Lind, was also part of the group.

– For us, it is she who scored the goal of the match. She could improvise on the stage and was very eager to sing and she dragged us all in that wind, said Marie Nilsson Lind about her sister.

"Lost your self-esteem"

For a time, Josefin Nilsson had a relationship with a man who mistreated and threatened her, which he was also found guilty of. The beatings deeply affected Josefin Nilsson.

– It was a person who was not afraid of anything before, but she was afraid of everything and lost her self-esteem, her way of being, her way of relating to the scene. She's lost, says Marie Nilsson Lind.

Book written about his life

Before the death of Josefin Nilsson in 2016, she had begun writing a book about her life, which resulted in the creation of the documentary SVT Love me for who I am.

– For me, it was a loud voice that went away way too soon. It is the portrait of a great popular artist and the portrait of a man capable of telling his story, said documentary producer Anna-Carin Stenholm Pihl.
